I'm Viv, creator of Viridian Candle Co., where we blend fantasy with fragrance to transport you to the magical realms of your favourite stories.
Our journey began in 2021 when my kitchen-witchery shifted from baking to candle making—a passion that combines chemistry and creativity. Just like a wand chooses its wizard, the skill of "wick-crafting" found me. Over the years I've practiced the art of blending unique fragrances, and perfected making clean candles that do more than light a room—they transform it.
Think of us as potion masters. Each candle is carefully made to immerse you in the atmosphere of beloved tales. Lighting one isn't just igniting a wick; it's opening a portal to another world.
What's in our cauldron?
Only the good stuff. Our candles are vegan, non-toxic, and made with pure soy wax—no parabens or harmful additives. We're committed to eco-friendly packaging, aiming to eliminate plastic entirely.
Handcrafted in Johannesburg, our candles are made in small batches to ensure quality and sustainability. With two regal cats overseeing the process, making our products pet-friendly is a must.
