• Each candle is hand-poured in Johannesburg using a controlled small-batch process. Jars are cleaned and prepared, cotton wicks are secured and tested, and wax is blended with fragrance at optimal temperatures.
• Every candle cures for 14 days before shipping. We test for burn performance, scent throw, and safety before anything leaves the studio.

• Our wax is a blend of hydrogenated soybean and vegetable oils. We do not use beeswax — all products are fully vegan.
• We use high-quality, phthalate-free fragrance oils sourced from a European fragrance house. Wicks are lead-free cotton and rigorously tested.
• Wax truffles and dragon eggs are made from soy wax and may include natural micas and safe dyes. We do not decorate candles themselves to ensure consistent, safe burn performance.

• No. We use professionally developed fragrance blends.
• Pure essential oils limit scent complexity, can trigger sensitivities, and require large quantities of plant material. Fragrance blends allow us to create immersive, story-driven scents safely and sustainably.
• We craft fantasy candles — not aromatherapy products.

• Our fragrance oils are phthalate-free and formulated for home use.
• As with all scented products, ensure proper ventilation and keep lit candles out of reach of pets.
• Avoid use near aquatic animals, as airborne fragrance can be harmful to them.

• Stop burning when about 1cm of wax remains. Allow the wax to cool, scoop it out, remove the wick holder, and wash the jar with soap and water.
• Cleaned jars are ideal for storage, planters, stationery, or refill use.

• Our 215g candle is designed for spaces up to approximately 24sqm. Burn time and scent coverage increase with proper use and ventilation.

• Our 215g candle burns approximately 40–50 hours when properly maintained.

• Enter the recipient’s delivery address at checkout and include your message in the notes section. We’ll handwrite it.
